Each band reaches a different tension level: Blue 10 lbs., Green 20 lbs., Yellow 30 lbs., Red 40 lbs., and White 50 lbs. In general, elastic resistance bands engage muscles that focus on stabilization. These support muscles compliments larger muscle groups, so resistance band workouts are more comprehensive and targeted strength workouts.
